Romance Vs Realism throughout Romeo and Juliet
Positions on romance and realism are distributed fairly evenly through William Shakespeares Romeo and Juliet. They are commonly represented ideas which all characters exemplify in turns. Factors of both romantic and realistic persuasions apply to much of the characters decisions, indecisions, and involuntary acts alike. Yet, these philosophies are most prominently shown in two characters, representing two extremes on a spectrum shaded from rose tinted glass toward a dismal starless-sky black. Romeos romantic inclinations and Mercutios realistic views oppose eac
How often have I sat here?
In this chair of indecision.
It resides menacingly in the barren plain of helplessness.
A sole curio among the short grasses, and more the arrogant for the size disparity.
At my feet a forked path whose diverging segments
turn back upon themselves,
cross,
separate,
mangle the very idea of navigating a course,
and recede.
Perhaps they travel forward,
perhaps they will lead me backward.

Once upon a Hallows eve
I gathered friends and we did weave
Cloaks of brilliance to deceive
Through the night of hallows eve
On this night the wicked adore
We use traditions born of yore
And dress in splendid witch décor
Said Ally well get chocolate and much more
The Paths we tread are filled with ghouls
And ghosts also, by the score
With witch-lings, pixies, and ogres
Said Galite these tiny cuties I adore!
The houses dressed for fright galore
Give out candy by the score
From our cauldrons it seems to pour
Said Alyssa oh! recess lets get more
Through the witching hours
We walke

Thinking of time by SingsAsongOfsixpence, literature
Literature
Thinking of time
The nightingale weeps
as the stars alight the path
as weary woman sleep
the hunter sits in wrath
Leave me grant her wishes
may I spare her reason
given ghostly kisses
the givers live in treason
Lest I walk the shadow line
were dreams pervert my thinking
Living, graceless falls from time
in a sandbox ever sinking
Vigilante-
Ignore the ways the reasons
To sit and stay behind
The proverbs of the aged
were raised
from the ashes of their rage
Their fruitful stuggles were
Fruitless when born upon their backs
To the future we can look
A future those present here will make
Each generation changes
Dreams a new "we must"
Dreams to remake the world in trust
Teenagers hold the passion
Vigalanties are the young
Passion will raise
Sunrises not remarked upon by SingsAsongOfsixpence, literature
Literature
Sunrises not remarked upon
I see a sunrise everymorning
Yet I hardly spare
A glance to either left or right
My carelesness I despair
Its my own hateful revenge
My own unthinking plot
To sit in desolute Vegiaty
This beauty, sight, remarkable
I remark not
Its a twisted sort of vengence
Futile, you see
I deprieve myself beauty
Because you deprive me sleep
Its six o'clock in the morning
I would rather not go
But I've hopes for present and future
Thus I can only do so
Love is a two-way street by SingsAsongOfsixpence, literature
Literature
Love is a two-way street
Love is a two way street
Walking along this eternal beat
if understanding was necessary not
Than why would we all share our lot
In comfort we seek to sympathize
Sometimes theres no need to chastizise
For those who live in pain
Take heart, love comes again
Everyday the sun shines more
Than ever it has done before
For when your heart is on the mend
I`ll ever be your true friend
Everything that she is
May be everything that I`m not
But she has some things
That I know that I`ve got
Heart and Desire
Surley she has more
But while its been missed
I`ve shown it before
Experience
I know I`m at a loss
But I`ve prepared more than ever
To make it a fair toss
Calm hands and True skill
She`s right on her game
When the time comes and I`m reay
There are no nerves to tame
Perseverance
Without which we`d all fail
No slaking, No jogging, No ending too soon
Endurance puts us on victory`s Tail
In the end two parts of the many
She may handle the best
We`ll race as a team
I`ll handle the rest

I spend my days as a willing captive to the chronicles of Others, ensnared in cages of bound paper and ink. I couldnt leave, not if I wished it with my entire soul, for these characters are too heartfelt, too valid, and too honest even when they were created to lie.
I suppose you deserve a measure of pity. Were you not born into this world? This world where people strive endlessly to impress others and leave behind a legacy. And what legacy, I ask you, shall be remembered other than the legacy of evil? So yes, I give you my pity, for my cages do not contain enough room for another beside me, and as such you must endure these evils

Avalon For a Sixpence
What small price it is to pay -
A mortal life,
Albeit a life of turmoil,
Sorrow,
And broken dreams
To gain a life eternal.
A life of meaningful bliss.
Where my struggles cease,
My turmoils are no more,
My tears of sorrow now tears of joy.
A land of living dreams.
'Tis what's to come,
'Tis what's to gain.
A land fairer than that of Arthur,
Fairer than mortal mind can conceive.
Greater than any seven wonders
Seventy times over.
A mortal life,
What a small price to pay.
'Tis like all Avalon for a single sixpence.
